1) CONFYE Project (Professional Orientation and Entrepreneurship)

CONFYE Project is a partnership between vocational education and training entities and associations/entities representing the textile sector from Portugal, Spain and the Czech Republic, with the aim of increasing permeability in the insertion into the labour market of final-year students/trainees of vocational courses in the areas of textiles, clothing and fashion.

To achieve this objective, a MOOC was created - Massive Online Open Course, which includes tutorials on Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship for the preparation of young people and qualified adults in writing a CV, preparing for an internship or job interview and in entrepreneurship.

2) MODATOP Project (Moda Training on Practice)

MODATOP is a project which was developed based on the educational and vocational training framework of the participating countries, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic, which included practical vocational training sessions in companies to benchmark the resources and methods used in vocational training schools and companies in the textile sector, which underpin the efforts of trainers and tutors in the practical training sessions.

This project aims to develop pedagogical methods to reduce the gap between the training and the working environments in a company for the trainees.    

Educational resource:  MODATOP Project as a result has developed:  1. Recommendation Guide for trainers and tutors; 2. Online recognition tool that recognises the learning outcomes obtained in practical sessions, in collaboration with vocational training schools.

3) FACTIVE Project (Flipped classroom training Approach for Clothing and Textile VET Education)

The Erasmus+ FACTIVE  Project aims to improve the quality and relevance of the learning offer in Textile and Clothing Vocational Training through an innovative learning approach - Flipped Classroom Approach to improve the level and assessment of learners' skills and to match the quality of VET courses with the modern, creative and innovative needs of today's Textile and Clothing industry in Europe.

4) MODISTO Project (Moda y Diseño Sostenible)

The ERASMUS+ MODISTO Project focused on the creation of teaching materials based on innovative practices of sustainable production and consumption to be included in vocational education and training curricula, consequently equipping its trainees/students with these skills.

  1. Ecodesign;
  2. Sustainable materials;
  3. Eco-labelling and certification;
  4. Sustainability (fashion and clothing), with the inclusion of case-based activities.

5) CosTUme Project (Clothing Technician training reference tool)

The CosTUmE Project created a new and attractive profile and qualification pathway for Garment Technicians developed in partnership in 3 countries (PT, ES, RO) to mobilize young people and adults in their professional qualification in the vocational education and training system through the acquisition of skills needed for the textile and clothing industry, by the strong link between fashion, technical textiles, home textiles, sustainability, the introduction of new materials and industry 4.0.

Educational resource: The CosTUme Project has developed the following resources:

  1. Mapping the skill needs and good work-based practices for the Textile and Clothing sector;
  2. Creation of the Profile/Qualification Pathway for Garment Technicians,
